European Championship Montello 24h

Montello is a yearly race organised by my friends Fabio and Roberto. Start and finishing point is at the highest point of the lap which is in the small town of Santa Maria dell Vittoria.

This year is was also the race for the European Championship for Ultra Marathon Cycling.

The race offered a 24 and 12 hour competition. Of course, for me it was the 24 hours race.

The race should demand everything from us, 36 degrees during the day and at night severe thunderstorms at 16 degrees. But after 24 hours and 501km with 6000 meters of altitude it is done and with a third place in the European Champingship I am very satisfied. 🙂
